What makes Sunrise unique?
We all come together to Worship, pray, sing and learn together about God's love. We feel it is important for youth to be very involved in our Worship services. Mission is a very important part of Sunrise, whether supporting youth and people in our own church or being involved in some manor in the mission field, local and international.

Will I be singled out as a Visitor?
As a visitor, you will never be put the spot, or embarrassed at Sunrise. We do hope you will be greeted several times by different people who want to get to know you and have you feel like part of the Sunrise community. We encourage everyone to participate in all our activities, even if they are not a member of Sunrise.

We love children in worship. A children's message is towards the first of our worship time. We do offer a professional nursery, free of charge, if the parent chooses.

How do I join Sunday School?
We start children off with a Nursery Sunday School ages two years and under. The Preschool Sunday School is for three and four year olds. All children from K through 5th graders are welcome to join in rotation classes. Mid highs and senior highs meet in the loft for their own classes. Younger children are welcome to stay with the parent or play in the professional nursery provided from 9:20 to 11:30am.
Adults are all invited to attend any of the adult classes. On Sunday morning Adult class covers different topics throughout the year. There is also an adult bible study class. This year we offered an Adult Beginning Bible Class. Some adult classes are offered during the week. See the newsletter for announcements of classes. Other classes are offered seasonally coinciding with the Presbyterian calendar.

Sunday mornings Worship is help at 9:30am except on Easter and Christmas Sundays. On Easter and Christmas two services are offered; 8:30am and 11:00am with Sunday School and Fellowship between services.
I am physically handicapped, how easy is your church to maneuver?
Sunrise is easy for people with physical handicaps. There are no stairs going into the church. The main floor is without stairs. The only stairs would be to the basement. Any class that is held in the basement (usually children's classes) can easily move to the main level to avoid stairs. Our members are happy to open doors and will inquire how they can help make your mobility easier.
