Our Pastor
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.
MOTTO: “BE THE CHURCH. LIVE THE MISSION, SHARE GOD’S LOVE,”
Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Narh Yebuah holds a Master of Theology in Practical Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Ph. D. in Religion and Psychological Studies from the University of Denver/Iliff School of Theology. He served as Pastor of Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati for ten years and now serves as Pastor of Sunrise Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Norwood, Ohio.
A gifted biblical, Christ-centered preacher, leader, teacher, and passionate shepherd, Dr. Yebuah believes that Christians are “Acts Chapter 29 people” continuing God’s mission in a broken world by writing the next chapter with love, grace, healing, reconciliation, and forgiveness. He encourages others not only to attend church but be the Church, living as Christ’s witnesses in daily life, bearing witness to Christ through words, actions, and intentional living.
Dr. Yebuah’s ministry emphasizes spiritual formation, compassionate outreach, and living out faith with integrity in both personal relationship and the wider community. He pioneered the “After Service Personal Evangelism” initiative at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, featuring the “Thought to Carry” program, which equips congregation members to testify about their faith at home, ensuring that sermons continue to inspire and transform lives beyond Sunday morning.
Throughout his ministry, Rev. Dr. Yebuah has faithfully served the church at multiple levels, nurturing faith, equipping leaders, and fostering vibrant, Christ-centered communities. Beyond his local congregation, he has exemplified distinguished servant leadership at the presbytery level, having served as Chair of Council, Moderator, and Vice-Moderator of the Presbytery of Cincinnati. In these capacities, he has provided guidance for mission initiatives, governance, and spiritual growth of the church community. His dedicated service reflects an unwavering commitment to faithful leadership, collaborative ministry, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom.
Known for his approachable spirit, warm smile and thoughtful spirituality, Dr. Yebuah continues to inspire, encourage, and challenge congregations to live fully in Christ, embodying both pastoral care and visionary leadership.
Ebenezer and his wife, Rejoice, have been joyfully married since 1989. Together, they are blessed with three children—Ebenezer (EB), Mawukle, and Nan—and one grandson, Sekani Nii Attey Yebuah, who brings joy and delight to their family.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ guide your steps, the love of God fill your heart, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit strengthen your spirit today and always. Amen.
