Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:9 – “For we are God’s servants, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.”

The book of Acts in our Bibles ends at chapter 28, but the story of God’s mission doesn’t stop there. The gospel is still advancing, the Spirit is still moving, and God’s people are still living out the good news in every generation. That’s why we talk about Acts 29: not as a chapter written on paper, but as the ongoing story written in our lives. It is not a chapter we read. It is a chapter we live.

When we think about being “Acts 29 people,” we remember that we are not just spectators of God’s work; we are active participants. We partner with God in this mission. The Holy Spirit is still calling, sending, empowering, and guiding us. Each act of kindness, each word of truth, each stand for justice, and each offering of compassion is a sentence in the chapter we’re helping to write.

We may feel small at times. The early church did too. But God delights in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes. Just as the apostles carried the good news into unknown territories, we are called to carry the light of Christ into our neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and homes.

So, what will our Acts 29 look like? Will it tell the story of a church that prayed faithfully, welcomed warmly, served joyfully, and loved unconditionally? Will it testify to a people who trusted God enough to step out in faith, even when the path was unclear?

The Spirit is the ink. The pen is our lives. The page is this moment in history. The story is not over. The Spirit is still moving forward. The Spirit is our guide. Let us write a chapter worthy of the One who gave us His life.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for inviting us to be part of Your ongoing story. Give us courage to be bold witnesses, humility to serve with love, and faith to trust You with every step. May the chapter we write bring glory to Your name through Jesus the Christ. Amen.
